Teaching Schedule for November 4th-8th

 

Monday

Today the subject for my block of class is Religion. The class will be working together as groups and studying different stories and drawing from them the different people involved, locations, a general summary as well as whatever moral or lesson is involved.

Tuesday

The class will complete an assignment revolving around figurative language. Students will come up with an automobile name (following a teacher led example) and use figurative language to describe features.

Wednesday

A Remembrance Day theme will be used to introduce an assignment on Haiku in which each student will complete a poem with at least one example of figurative language.

There will also be an introduction to place value during the math block where students will exam various numbers and the importance of the decimal.

Thursday

No lessons with Simon are scheduled.

Friday

Class will be held in the computer lab where Simon will engage the students in a technology based lesson.
